Church Council and BoardChurch Council The Church Council is elected by the Congregation and is responsible to the Congregation. Council members are elected for three year terms. After serving two consecutive terms, Council members must step down for at least one year. The Council is composed of between 15 and 21 members, with the Pastor(s) serving Ex Officio. The Council normally meets on the second Tuesday of each month (September thru June) at 8:00 PM. Church Boards The work of the Church is carried out through a structure of Boards. Board membership is open to any member who wishes to serve; however, the Chairperson of a Board must be a Council member. The Boards normally meet on the second Tuesday of each month (September thru
June) at 8:00 PM. Boards may elect to meet at another time if it is convenient
for the majority of members. The following is the current Board structure.
